SCRAPBOOK PAGE LAYOUT CONTEST

We are extremely pleased and excited to announce our 2nd Annual CRUISE OUT CANCER SCRAPBOOK PAGE LAYOUT CONTEST sponsored by DAYS OFF TRAVEL to raise funds for M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Eligibility: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding its territories and possessions) who are 21 years old or older. Employees, independent contractors and their immediate family members (and/or those living in the same household of each), of Days Off Travel are NOT eligible. All federal and state laws and regulations apply. Failure to comply with all rules or conditions may result in forfeiture of eligibility.

How to Enter: Complete official entry form and create a page layout in one of the following categories:

• “My hero…Joy…In honor of” - Honor someone you know who is fighting cancer, who is in remission or who has lost the battle.
  
• “I need a scrapbook cruise” - Depict why you need a scrapbook cruise.
  

Page layout must fit on 12”x12” or 8.5” x 11” paper. Do not send original layouts. Email entries are not accepted. All entries must include official entry form on back of layout.

Mail color copy of completed layout, entry form and a $1 donation for M. D. Anderson Cancer Center to Days Off Travel, Cruise Out Cancer Contest, 561 Vale View Drive, Vista, CA 92081. Donations can be in the form of cash or check made payable to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Checks made payable to Days Off Travel or Scrapbook Cruises are not accepted. Your donation to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is tax-deductible.

Multiple entries are permitted. Email submissions will NOT be accepted. Each entry must include an entry form and a $1 donation to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Each entry must be a different scrapbook page layout.

Entry/Entries must be a scrapbook page layout/s of your own design, never have been entered into any previous contest or previously published and not infringe on any third party rights.

All entries must be received after Thursday, July 26, 2007 and no later than Tuesday, December 4, 2007 (Deadline extended due to the wildfires in San Diego). Days Off Travel shall not be responsible for lost, late, damaged or misdirected entries.

All entries become the sole property of Days Off Travel and none will be returned. Entrants retain copyright. Email entries are not accepted.

Judging Criteria: Each entry selected as a potential winner must comply with all terms and conditions as set forth in these Official Rules. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements.

Entries will be judged using the following criteria in equal measure:
• A) Does the entry accurately reflect the assignment?
• B) Is the design of the layout unique and well designed and does it reflect excellent craftsmanship?
• C) Does the layout express meaning through journaling, art or photographs that provide value or insight to the viewers?
• D) Are any photographs used in the layouts clear, sharp and expressive?

Decisions of the judges are final and binding. Entrants agree to be bound by these decisions and the Official Rules. Potential winner will be notified by phone, email or mail by December 15, 2007. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, an alternate entrant will be selected in his or her place from all entries received. Days Off Travel will have no liability to the untraced winner as a result.

Prizes: The following prize will be awarded:

Grand Prize Winner will receive an inside cabin for two on Scrapbook Cruises’ 6th Annual Bahamas Scrapbook Cruise on March 7, 2008. Prize includes scrapbooking events and workshops/classes, most on-board meals, entertainment and shipboard activities. Airfare/Travel Expenses to/from point of embarkation, transportation to/from pier, port charges, government fees, taxes, alcohol, gratuities, spa treatments, onboard expenses, optional shore excursions and/or items of a personal nature are NOT included. Grand Prize is limited to only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. Certain travel restrictions may apply on Grand Prize. Grand Prize Winner if under the age of 25 will be required to travel with another guest 25 years or older. Grand Prize is non-transferable and non-negotiable for cash or re-sale, and must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions or cash redemption of prize are permitted.

Approximate value of Grand Prize is $1,240. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Contest subject to Official Rules. For a copy, send a self-addressed stamped envelope by 12/29/07 to: Scrapbook Cruises, Cruise Out Cancer Contest Rules, 561 Vale View Drive, Vista, CA 92081.

Winner consents to the use of photographs and/or likenesses and the winner may be asked to participate in publicity including being photographed in relation to the contest completion. Entry constitutes permission from the entrant to use his or her name, picture, likeness, country, state or residence for the purposes of trade, publicity or promotion for no additional compensation or notice. Days Off Travel will not transfer or disclose entrant’s name, address or other details to third parties other than what is required to award prize to the winner.

Winner and traveling companion will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a release of liability and publicity release within 14 days of notification, failing which will result in forfeiture of prize and an alternate potential winner may be selected at the sole discretion of Days Off Travel.

All entrants release Promoter, their affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees and agents, and all others associated with the development and execution of this completion contest from any and all liability from injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this promotion or acceptance or use of any prize.
